United We Stand (Part 1)

United We Stand is a documentary film that explores the legacy of Sound System culture from the very origins, with the caribbean sound system pioneers , to the contemporary musical and artistic movements that are blooming right now. From Ska, Mento & Reggae to Dub, Jungle, DrumNBass and other electronic musics, United we stand takes you for a ride in order to overstand all the dreams, reflections, actions and objectives that are lying beneath the musical show. Wherever we come from, whatever is our religion or stigmas, we are all united in our struggles, arising in civilian self-defense against the coercive and oppressive methods that are set up to control and restrain these alternative events.
