While browsing the archive for material of the era, I was inspired by the relatively subversive pre-code portrayals of women's sexuality, and wanted to overlay that with a contemporary romantic construct as well as celebrate the inherent gay subtext of the original film" - Samara Meyer Placed third in the 2025 Public Domain Day Remix Contest.
